Airbrush Tanning
Get the Most Realistic, Flawless, Sunless Tan Ever Created!
- Airbrush Tanning eliminates all of the mess and problems associated with tanning creams, and spray tanning booths.
- There are no streaks, orange palms, or dirty looking knees and elbows. Airbrush tanning is a personal treatment that’s tailored to your individual needs.
- Airbrush tanning works by having a trained professional spray a customized tanning formula onto clean, un-lotioned skin.
- The amino acids in your skin respond naturally to the DHA and other complementary ingredients within the tanning formula to produce the most beautiful sunless tan you’ve ever seen, in less than 30 minutes.
- One of the other benefits of a spray tan is that it is UV free, making it ideal for pregnant women, those with extremely sensitive skin, and others seeking an alternative tanning experience.
Pre-Tan Prep
The Healthiest Tan Starts with the Healthiest Skin
Exfoliate your skin before your airbrush session. This promotes an even coverage and lengthens the duration of your tan by removing dead skin that would otherwise flake off. Do not injure the skin by overdoing it. Wax a minimum of 24 hours before your tanning appointment OR shave 8 hours before your airbrush tanning session. Remove or avoid wearing make-up and moisturizer as this will act as a barrier to the spray tan product, and stops the process from working properly. Wear dark, loose fitting clothing and undergarments to your tanning appointment. The cosmetic bronzer may rub off on clothing, but it will wash out of most fabrics.
For best results, use a salon quality skin care line when preparing for & maintaining your airbrush tan. These specially formulated products will help you develop & maintain healthy skin & a gorgeous tan!
Maintaining Your Airbrush Tan
Wait at least 8 to 12 hours before washing, after your airbrush tan session. And for the most beautiful, longest lasting tan develop a healthy skin regimen. Apply moisturizer the morning and evening after your post-tan shower. Avoid moisturizers with AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid, since they promote exfoliation), long, hot showers and baths, and scrubbing the skin. Keep in mind that chlorine in swimming pools and hot tubs can remove or shorten the longevity of your airbrush tan, and excessive friction on the skin may fade your tan prematurely. Avoid the use of a washcloth or exfoliator when bathing. Pat your skin dry after bathing or showering. Take care when exercising as friction and excess sweat may cause your tan to fade prematurely or unevenly.
Your tan will naturally start to fade as your skin normally exfoliates. Once your tan has completely faded, it is ok to start the preparation and treatment all over again.
